Jackie Hoffman

Jackie Hoffman, 70, of Anna, died at 8:39 a.m. Feb. 20, 2018, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.

She was born on Dec. 27, 1947, in Anna, the daughter of Don and Opal Shelton Scivally.

She married William Travelstead in 1973. William preceded her in death in 1978. Later, she married Bryon Hoffman on Dec. 6, 1981. He preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 1997.

She was a telephone operator for 12 years. She also worked as a cook at The Depot and Brickhouse Grill. She was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and the First Presbyterian Church in Cobden. She was a very loving and caring person. Her family was always first in her life and her grandchildren were her world.

She is survived by her children, Amy (Tim) Casper of Cobden and Jerry (Ashlee Morris) Hoffman of Anna; grandchildren Bradley Casper of Cobden and Wyatt Hoffman of Anna; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her wishes were to be cremated. The family had a memorial service on their own Friday, Feb. 23, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Cobden.

Memorials can be made to the family for final expenses.

Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro was in charge of the cremation services.
