Jack Denton Brimm

Jack Denton Brimm, 88, of Anna, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, at his home. 

He was born on Dec. 26, 1935, in Balcom, the son of Manford and Opal Murphy Brimm. 

He married Rebecca R. Lutz on June 30, 1962, in Anna. She preceded him in death on Jan. 23, 2016.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Hutchison; son Timothy Brimm; grandchildren Christopher Hutchison, Stephanie Joles, Dustin and Kristen Brimm and Amelia Dalton; great-grandchildren Vayda, Juniper, Olive, Oakley, Forrest, Ellie, Braelynn and Waylon; sister Janice Garner; other relatives and many friends. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Brimm; his parents; a daughter, Patricia Ann Brown; a brother, James Brimm; and a sister, Peggy Bourland.

He retired from Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center in Anna after nearly 40 years. He enjoyed metal detecting and reading about and researching Lewis and Clark. Above all, he loved his family, always putting them first. He will be forever loved and missed. 

Services for Jack Denton Brimm will be private. Interment will take place in Casper Cemetery near Anna.
