Irene Stamp

Irene Stamp, 89, of Wolf Lake, went home to her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024, with her loved ones by her side. 

She was born on June 10, 1935, in Wolf Lake, the daughter of Annie Sims. 

She married James “Jim” Stamp on Dec. 5, 1953. He preceded her in death on April 29, 2021.

She is survived by her three grandchildren, Josh (Allison) Stamp, Jacob (Jana) Stamp and Amanda (Kyle) Vosburgh; six great-grandchildren, Jack and Sedona Stamp, June Stamp, Ian Moseback, Greyson and Lubbock Vosburgh; other family and close friends. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Smith; her husband, Jim Stamp; son Jeffrey Lee Stamp; and sister Louise Smith.

She was a member of the Wolf Lake Assembly of God Church, where her husband Jim served as pastor for many years before retiring. She loved to go camping at Horseshoe Lake with Jim and finding treasures at auctions and sales. Irene enjoyed spending time with her cats. 

Early in her working career she worked for the Florsheim Shoe Factory and later at Ensign Bickford until she retired.

Funeral services will be held privately for her family.
