Hobert F. Rhodes

Hobert F. Rhodes, 63, of Anna, died at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, at his home.

He was born on Sept. 3, 1954, in Manila, Ark., the son of Robert and Lessie Mae White Rhodes.

He is survived by his seven sisters, Loretta Wilson of Sikeston, Mo., Geneva Smith of Anna, Janice (Joe) Westmorland of Cedar Bluff, Ala., Peggy (Richard) Rhodes of Luray, Va., Ocie (Mike) Oswald of Wichita Falls, Texas, Linda Rhodes of Anna and Janey Acuff of West Vienna; sisters-in-law Martha Rhodes of Cobden and Clemmie Rhodes of Cookeville, Tenn., other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Edgar, Kenneth and Troy Rhodes; three brothers-in-law Woodrow Wilson, Don E. Smith and Ronnie Acuff; and two nephews, Danny Wilson and Mark Westmorland.

Funeral services for Mr. Rhodes were at noon Monday, Oct. 16, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Interment was in Cobden Cemetery.
