Geraldine D. Magee Llewellyn

Geraldine D. Magee Llewellyn, 76, of Anna, died at 3:21 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, at her home.

She was born on April 10, 1946, in Sikeston, Mo., the daughter of Elisha Alexander Magee and Bunav Williams Magee.

Survivors include her daughters, Kimberly (Jeff) Hickam of Jonesboro, Michelle (Glenn) Cook of Goreville and Sonia Rhymer of Anna; eight grandchildren, Robert (Aimee) Gooden, Cheyenne (Ethan) Burlison, Matthew (Taylor Adkins) Gooden, William (Kara) Cook, Brandon Rhymer, Jared (Melissa Anne) Bowling, Ashley Bowling and Desiree (Chris) Covey; a sister, Barbara (Jimmy) Duckworth of Anna; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lisa Cheryl Lynn Kerley; and 13 siblings.

She had been employed at Trojan Powder Company in Wolf Lake. Later, she worked as a home health care provider.

Mrs. Llewellyn was a member of the Anna VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening and raising flowers. She was a member of the Alto Pass Full Gospel Pentecostal Church. 

She fought a valiant four year battle against cancer.

A service honoring the life of Geraldine D. Magee Llewellyn will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.  Pastor Billy Carter will officiate.

Burial will be in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at the funeral home.
