Gary D. Fuller

Gary D. Fuller, 78, of Cobden, died at 5 p.m. on Aug. 12, 2017, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

He was born on July 12, 1939, in Anna, the son of Edgar and June Wall Fuller.

He married Judy Renfrow on Nov. 27, 1958.

He owned and operated Gary D. Fuller Construction. He loved his work and the people he dealt with and took great joy in helping others.

In his spare time he enjoyed antiquing, going to eat, fishing and going to the lake; as long as he was on the go he was happy. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Jonesboro.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Fuller; a son, Steve Fuller; a daughter, Jan Fuller; a granddaughter, Jordan Fuller; a goddaughter, Cherish Fogt; and other loved ones, Sondra Fuller, Mike Isom, Cheryl (Jerry) Alsip, Diane and Airinna Fuller; Carolyn Fuller, Audrey Robertson, Jack (Amy) House and George (Sandy) Renfrow.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Roger Fuller; a sister, Jean Crowell; and a nephew, Thomas Fuller.

Funeral services were at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro, with the Rev. Mike Turner officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Friendship Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
