Floyd ‘Ratt’ Crisman

Floyd “Ratt” Crisman, 48, of Mounds, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, at his home. 

He was born on May 8, 1973, in Cape Girardeau, the son of William L. and Wilma P. Denton Crisman. 

He married Stephanie McBride on Nov. 25, 2015, in Jonesboro. 

Mr. Crisman is survived by his wife, Stephanie Crisman of Mounds; children Nathan “Tator” (Nikki) Perkins of Salem, Austin Perkins of Vandalia, Kent Crisman of Farina, Katie Crisman and Kara Crisman, both of Shobonier, and Summer (Terry) Woods of Clinton, Ky.; six grandchildren; siblings Stewart Crisman Sr. of Grand Chain, Edward (Frances) Crisman of Karnak, Billy Crisman of Clinton, Ky., Gerald (Mary Ann) Crisman of Mounds, Christopher (Tricia) Crisman, Curtis Frazier Jr. of Anna, honorary brother Cody “Cdub” (Alicia) Webb of Jonesboro; honorary mother Shirley Beasley; in-laws Johnny (Reba) Cook of Cayce, Ky.;other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and by a sister, Alicia Smelcner.

Mr. Crisman worked as an over the road truck driver for 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing and being on his farm with family and friends. Floyd enjoyed rebuilding old trucks, mud racing, raising cattle and Bud Light. He also enjoyed truck trips to Texas and loved shooting Tannerite. 

Memorial services will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan.20, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with the Rev. Clint Nale officiating. Memorials can be made to Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
