Eva E. Klepper

Eva E. Klepper, 83, of Anna, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2022, at 11:40 a.m. at Integrity Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Anna.

She was born on Aug. 2, 1939, in Fabens, Texas.  She was the daughter of Emilio Jauregui Sr. and Manuela Holguin Jauregui.

Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Jauregui of Fabens, Texas, and Charles Legate of Athens, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Brittney, Josh, Robert, Stevie, Jamie, Justin and Matthew; great-grandchildren, including  Camron, Lukas, Jonas, and Zeke; her siblings, Jose Ramon, Lorenzo, Ricardo, Hector, Ofelia, Bertha and Marylou; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Judy Easterly; siblings Gloria, Josefina, Paula, Emilio, Jr., Delia, Martha; and two infant sisters.

She was employed by the Florsheim Shoe Company and later worked at Jo-An Laundry, both in Anna.

She was a skilled artist.  She enjoyed drawing and coloring.

She was a member of the Catholic faith.

A celebration of the life of Eva Klepper will be conducted at a later date.
