Earl Wayne Slusher

Earl Wayne Slusher, 65, of Ullin, died at noon Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, at his home.  

He was born on July 7, 1953, in Cairo, the son of Richard Arthur and Ruth Frances Sitton Slusher.  

He worked in California as a heavy equipment operator. When he came back to Southern Illinois, he worked for Transcraft, the City of Ullin and most recently, at Honey’s Quick Stop. He was a member of the Ullin Baptist Church.

He is survived by his brothers, Jack Slusher of Creve Couer, Gary Slusher of Ullin and Tony Slusher of Anna; a sister, Tina Peterson of Grand Chain; nieces and nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Allen Slusher. 

Funeral services for Earl Wayne Slusher were at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin, with the Rev. Clint Nale officiating. Interment was in the Ullin Cemetery.
