Dorian ‘Pinky’ Buckley
Dorian “Pinky” Buckley, 72, of Jonesboro, and formerly of Chicago, died at 2:05 a.m. on May 19, 2018, at Integrity Healthcare Center in Anna.
He was born on Nov. 20, 1945, in Muskegon, Mich., the son of Joseph and Doris Wilson Buckley.
He married Laura Grubbe on June 5, 1971. She preceded him in death on Jan. 25, 2015.
He served in the U.S. Army. After his service he worked at Saint Francis Medical Center for over 30 years in the radiology department. In his spare time he enjoyed carpentry and blacksmith work.
He is survived by his mother, Doris Buckley of Shorewood; brothers David (Rebecca) Buckley of Shorewood, George (Karen) Buckley of Hartland, Wis., and Joe (Diane) Buckley of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother-in-law, Leslie (Michael) Grubbe of Anna; nieces Beth Fricke of Anna and Emma (Zach) Schauer of Ashland, Ore.; nephews Matt Buckley of Hartland, Wis., and Stephen Buckley of Bradenton, Fla.; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and wife.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro. Military honors will be accorded.
