Donna Sue Miller

Donna Sue Miller, 79, of Houston, Texas, and formerly of Anna, died Saturday, April 2, 2022, at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Mo. 

She was born on March 25, 1943, in Anna, the daughter of Lester and Cynthia Williams Miller.

She was a devoted follower of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She spent much of her time reading the Bible. She loved to attend church with her family at Horizon Baptist Church in Houston. She was a former member at the Dongola United Pentecostal Church, while living in Anna. 

In 2019, she moved to Texas to live with her son and daughter-in-law, where she enjoyed the best years of her life. 

She is survived by her son, James Paul and wife, Virginia Abbigail Morgan; sisters Eleanor Clardy of Anna, Cynthia Hall of Anna, Betty Casey of Buncombe and Janet (Jack) Treece of Marissa; brothers Larry (Jane) Miller of Cobden and Jim (Rhonda) Brumitt of Jonesboro; sisters-in-law Glenna Miller and Phyllis Miller, both of Anna; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Joyce Miller and Ann Etta Seliger; brothers Gerald and Carol Miller; her stepmother, Fannie Miller, and brothers-in-law Jim Clardy, George Seliger, Larry Hall and Max Casey.

Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, at the Anna City Cemetery, with Lake Norris officiating. 

Memorials can be made to KHCB Christian Radio Station in Houston, Texas, and/or to PreBorn of Indianapolis, Ind. 

Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro is in charge of arrangements.
