Dolores ‘Lory’ Walker

Dolores “Lory” Walker, 87, of Vienna, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016, at 3:40 a.m. at her home.

She was born on June 24, 1929, in Addieville, the daughter of William and Gladys Wilke Lehde.

On Sept. 11, 1948, she married Everett “Lee” Walker in Paragould, Ark. He preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 2007.

She is survived by her daughter, Barb (her husband, Bill) Warmack of Vienna; her granddaughter, Lorylee (her husband, DeWayne) Hensley of Vienna; a great-grandson, Isaiah Hensley; and a brother, Don (his wife, Shirley) Dintelman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lehde and Gladys Lehde Dintelman; her husband, Lee Walker; a son, Donald Walker; and three brothers.

She was a 1947 graduate of Nashville High School. She was employed as a secretary at Southern Illinois Stone Company at Buncombe until 1980. She was a member of the former Cypress Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Anna Moose Lodge No. 1346 and the Beggs-Gurley VFW Post No. 5222 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of the Zion Evangelical Church of Addieville.

She enjoyed dancing and spending time with friends. She was devoted to her family; her beloved daughter and granddaughter, Barb and Lorylee, their husbands, Bill and DeWayne, and her great-grandson, Isaiah, was her heart.

A service honoring the life of Mrs. Walker was held Sunday, Jan. 1, at 2 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.

Burial was in the Cypress Masonic Cemetery.
