Denny Lingle

Denny Lingle, 72, of Goreville, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. 

He was born on June 30, 1946, the son of Ralph Leo and Lorene Faye Stout Lingle. 

He married Doris Hebbeler on Sept. 5, 1990, in Goreville.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Lingle of Goreville; three sons, Wade, Shane and Justin Lingle; a stepson, Rick McGuire; a stepdaughter, Janell Litton; grandchildren Ethan, Tyler, Brett, Bruce, Dustin, and Brittany Lingle; step-grandson Shane McGuire; great-grandchildren Reece McGuire and Dallas Litton; two brothers, Mike (Dorain) Lingle and Greg (fiancé Bianca) Lingle; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was a member of the Goreville Masonic Lodge for many years. He was a lifetime heavy equipment operator and owner of Denny Lingle Trucking. He loved racing, traveling and watching TV westerns. 

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, today, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Bobby Richardson officiating. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery. 

Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
