Debra L. ‘Lonnie’ Prater

Debra L. “Lonnie” Prater, 60, of Anna, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at her home.

She was born on July 14, 1956, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Victor and Ruby White Petty.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jamie (Glen) Prater of Cobden and Jennifer (Michael) Garrett of Alto Pass; one son, Bobby Ferguson of Edinburgh, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Rachael (Floyd) Smith of Alto Pass; eight grandchildren, Myles Raines, Christopher Raines, Jarred Raines, Daisy Prater, Tobin Prater, Caydence Ferguson, Cayleigh Ferguson and Paige Ferguson; one brother, Bud Linton of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three sisters, Sherry Linton of Jonesboro, Cynthia Wallace of Anna and Ruby Mathis of Pinckneyville; a special friend, Edward Prater of Carbondale; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a granddaughter, Kaitlyn Prater.

Funeral services for Mrs. Prater were at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Interment was in the Anna City Cemetery.
