David Allen Broadway

David Allen Broadway, 36, of Cobden, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, at Union County Hospital in Anna. 

He was born on March 3, 1982, in Carbondale, the son of Gary and Shirley Pearson Broadway. 

He married Cindy Farris on May 2, 2015, in Anna. 

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Broadway of Cobden; his parents, Gary and Shirley Broadway of Jonesboro; a brother, Gary Jr. (Kelsey) Broadway of Makanda and their children, Annabelle and Daniel; his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Pearson; his father and mother-in-law, Jerry (April) Farris of Jonesboro; three brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; his maternal grandmother; aunts and uncles. 

He was a member of the Lighthouse Church in Anna. He worked for several years as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time. He dearly loved his family and spending time with his niece and nephew.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Rendleman & Hileman in Cobden, with the Rev. Danny Jones officiating. Interment was in Jonesboro Cemetery.
