Cynthia Oliver

Cynthia Oliver, 60, of Anna, died Sunday, Aug. 16, 2020, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born on June 20, 1960, in Anna, the daughter of Ronald Eugene and Cina Sue Rogers Oliver. 

She was full of laughter and love. She was a member of the Apostolic Promise Church in Cape Girardeau. She absolutely loved cooking and baking for her family and friends. 

She ran Miss Cindy’s Daycare for over 16 years. She will be so missed by all of her family and friends, especially her four-legged companion, Bruce. 

She is survived by her daughter, Chelsea (Sam Lillard) Hicks of New Albany, Ind.; a son, Christopher Hicks of Murphysboro; grandchildren Micah Lillard and Oliver DeRossett; her father, Ronald Oliver of Carrollton, Ga.; siblings Lisa (Joe) Dixon of Sun City, Ariz., Kim (Curt) Mezo of Vergennes, Marsha Lewis-Webber (Kenny Webber) of Waterloo and Kelly (Paul) Mitchell of Murphysboro; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Graveside funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21, at the Jonesboro Cemetery in Jonesboro, with Timothy Lee officiating. Interment will immediately follow. 

Friends can call from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Everyone attending will be required to wear face coverings and to follow social distance guidelines. 

Memorials can be made to Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery and the funeral home.
