Carolyn Treece

Carolyn Treece, 78, of Anna, died Saturday, July 8, 2017, at River to River Assisted Living in Anna.

She was born on July 27, 1938, in Cairo, the daughter of Van and Eileen Groner Earnhart.

She married Don Treece on Oct. 7, 1961, in Perks. He preceded her in death on Oct. 11, 2006.

She is survived by her sister, Christine (Jim) Helm; and a brother, Kenton (Beverly) Earnhart, all of Dongola; nephews and nieces Rick, Mike, Lisa, Brad, John, Justin and Paige; her loving companion, Lina; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her husband, Don Treece.

She worked for many years as a loan officer for various banks in Anna. Together, she and her husband Don enjoyed crafting handmade projects they gave to family and friends. She also loved painting and working with ceramics.

Funeral services for Mrs. Treece were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with John Earnhart officiating. Interment was in the Dongola American Legion Cemetery.
