Carl (C.W.) Wayne Nimmo

Carl (C.W.) Wayne Nimmo, 67, left this earthly home on Aug. 27, 2020.

Mr. Nimmo was born on May 21, 1953, in Union County, the son of Harlan and Wanda Davis Nimmo.  

He married Terry Lutz on Jan. 17, 1975, and to this union three beautiful daughters were born.

Mr. Nimmo was a farmer by trade.  He became a truck driver, but farming was still a big part of him.  He was a volunteer firefighter for  the Dongola Fire Department.Most importantly he was a Christian and a member of Big Creek Church. 

He is survived by his wife, Terry; daughters Jennifer (Don) Duskey of Dongola, Amber (Jeremy Bennett) Nimmo of Anna and Shannon (Billy) Cato of Olmsted; grandchildren Molly Sickling, Sydney and Charlotte Nimmo-Swartzell, Jersi and Ruby Duskey, Carl Nimmo-Duskey, Rebecca and Racheal Cato; many, many friends and other relatives. He also leaves his dog, Abby.

Mr. Nimmo was preceded in death by his parents, Wanda and Harlan Nimmo of Dongola.

Visitation was from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro.  Graveside services immediately followed the visitation at Big Creek Cemetery, with the Rev. LaRue Parr officiating.  

Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro was in charge of arrangements.
