Bruce A. Nagel
Bruce A. Nagel, 86, of Anna, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2021, at the Westfield Nursing Center in Sikeston, Mo.
He was born on Dec. 10, 1934, in Chicago, the son of Gustav and Dorothy Meier Nagel. He married Carolyn Hughey.
Mr. Nagel is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carolyn Nagel; a daughter, Dina Conenello; stepsons Jeff (Dianne) Hudgens and Steve (Carmie) Hudgens; stepdaughter Tammy Hudren; grandchildren Emilee and Baylee Hudgens, and Anthony and Amanda Hudgens; niece, Melissa Flahart; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Harley Nagel.
Mr. Nagel worked as a fireman and diver for the City of Chicago for many years. He also did work as a stone mason.
He loved animals and enjoyed going horseback riding. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Anna.
Memorial services were at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with Bill Littrell officiating. Memorials can be made to PAWS.
