Bonnie Dillon

Bonnie Dillon, 82, of Anna, died at 5:05 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, 2020, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on Feb. 7, 1938, in Jonesboro, the daughter of Charles and Flossie Pendergrass Spurlock.  

She married Cecil Dillon in 1979. He preceded her in death on June 22, 2019.

Mrs. Dillon was teacher’s aide at Mounds Grade School. In 1975 she went to beauty school in Cape Girardeau and was a beautician for 5-plus years.  She also was an activity director at Union County Nursing Home and worked at Davis Pastry.  

She had a strong faith and loved God. She enjoyed playing the piano, making jewelry and adult coloring books. However, more than anything she loved her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte (Alan) Reagan; grandchild Jeremy (Chelsie) Reagan; great-grandchildren Lilly Reagan and Lucas Reagan, all of Ullin; a sister, Shirley Powless of Georgia; beloved nieces, nephew and other relatives.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and by sisters Arietta Hogan, Roberta Stasko, Ruth Frick, Anita Christensen and Linda Dunaway.

A pass-through will be held Saturday, Dec. 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Crain Funeral Home in Anna.

Funeral services will be private, with Pastor Pete Vinson officiating. Interment will take place in Casper Cemetery near Anna.

Memorials can be made to Casper Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.

Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro is in charge of arrangements.
