Bonnie Bradley

Bonnie Bradley, 63, of Buncombe, was called home Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Ind., from COVID-19 pneumonia. 

She was born on Oct. 22, 1957, in Red Bud, the daughter of Tom and Clara Riebeling Sellers. 

She married the love of her life, Ray Bradley, on Oct. 27, 1979, in Red Bud.

Mrs. Bradley is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ray Bradley of Buncombe; a son, Travis Bradley; a daughter Sarah (David) Brown, all of Buncombe; five grandchildren, Landon and Trenton Bradley, Tristan, William and Payton Brown; siblings Elsie (Stan) Laramore, Mary Whitehouse, Dorothy Byerly, Alma (Neal) Erdmann, Gerry Thompson, Beverly (Kenny) Sellers, and Ivan (Rhonda) Sellers; nieces and nephews; many other family and friends. 

She had two fur babies, Marcel and Toby.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother, Floyd Sellers; a brother, Denny Sellers; a sister, Mildred (Ivan) Rettinghouse; a niece, Rachel Rettinghouse; and a nephew, Danny Sellers.

She was a caring and loving soul. She loved taking care of others. Her greatest enjoyment was spending her time with her husband, children, grandchildren and fur babies. 

Before graduating from nursing school, she worked  for five years as a life skills trainer. 

After becoming an LPN, she spent the next 22 years working at Union County Counseling Services. 

Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 9, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
