Bobby M. ‘Bob’ Marks

Bob Marks, 81. of Cobden, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, at his home. 

He was born on Oct. 25, 1937, in Alto Pass, the son of Elmer Lee “Pete” and Mary B. Penrod Marks. 

He is survived by his life partner, Lisa Adams of Cobden; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Clifton Marks, Phyllis Marks, Dewey Marks, Rosalee Cooms and Don Marks. 

He was a member of the Union Springs Baptist Church. He worked in construction and cattle farming until his retirement. He was a member of the Laborers Local 773 in Marion for many years. 

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden, with Pastor Jerry King officiating. Interment was in the Alto Pass Cemetery.
