Alfred C. Craft

Alfred C. Craft, 81, of Jonesboro, died at 9:40 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born on Feb. 13, 1935, the son of Cecil and Freda Dillow Craft.

He worked as a truck driver for E.T. Simonds Construction until retirement.

He is survived by his daughters, Irene (Mike) Reynolds of Jonesboro, Ramona (Chuck) Rice of Benton, Brenda (Whitney) Turner of Ellsinore, Mo., Glenda (Tim) Glasco of Anna and Mary Ann Lence of Du Quoin; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters Ellen Eads of Anna, Ada Clendenin of Wolf Lake, Martha Barlow of Anna and Sharon (Donnie) Tushhoff of Oak Ridge, Mo.; a brother, Ernest (Charlotte) Craft of New Wells, Mo.; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and by one son, Alfred C. Craft Jr., on July 17, 1983.

Funeral services for Mr. Craft were at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Interment was in St. John’s Cemetery.
