Alexandria Jade Johnson

Alexandria Jade Johnson, infant daughter of Ann Marie and Marcus Daniel Johnson Jr. of Herrin passed away at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born April 24, 2020, in St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Greg Johnson Sr.; and her paternal grandfather, Daniel Marcus Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her twin brother, Daniel Eugene Johnson; a brother, Mordecai Lee Johnson; maternal grandmother Janetta Johnson of Mound City; and a host of other relatives.

Due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 virus and by the signing of the executive order by Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, private visitation for the family was between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Monday, May 11, at the Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge. Funeral services followed.
