Adeline ‘Addie’ Caroline Hannan Landacre

Adeline “Addie” Caroline Hannan Landacre, 96, died on April 24, 2022, at her home in Rockledge, Fla. 

Addie was born on Dec. 9, 1925, in Olmsted, Ill.

Addie was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Erwin M. Landacre; her parents, Mike and Adalia Krigsheuser Hannan; sister Vera Laverne Hannan Pope Wissman; brother-in-law Howard Pope; brothers Vincent George Hannan and Claybourne Lee Hannan; sister-in-law Mary Lillian Barnes Hannan; maternal grandparents George and Anna Culli Krigsheuser; paternal grandparents William and Caroline Egner Hannan; local nieces and nephews Darryl Lee Pope, Judy Pope Collins, Janet Pope McVay, Zachary T. Hannan, Xavier F. Hannan and Mary Angeline Hannan Gray; and several other nieces and nephews. 

Addie was a graduate of Mound City Community High School, class of 1943. She was a civil service employee and retired from NASA in 1986. 

Addie was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church for over 50 years. Following retirement, she led the exercise class at Merritt Square Mall.

Services for Addie were Thursday, April 28, 2022, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 1136 Seminole Dr., Rockledge, Fla. 32955. Visitation was from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. Interment immediately followed at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 S. U.S. Highway 1, Rockledge, Fla. 32955.
