Union County school plans to host career fair

Anna-Jonesboro Community High School is making plans to once again host a Union County Career Fair.

The career fair is scheduled Thursday, March 7, with hours from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The career fair is open to all Union County high school students in grades 9 through 12.

The event will offer an opportunity for students to explore a variety of careers by speaking with local professionals.

More than 60 different presenters participated in the 2018 fair, representing local businesses, state agencies and post-secondary institutions.

Those who may be interested in participating in the 2019 career fair by sharing career knowledge with students are invited to contact A-JCHS school counselor Natalie McLean Miller for more information.

Miller can be contacted at nmiller@aj81.net or by phone at 833-8502, extension 119.

The deadline to enter to participate in the job fair is Feb. 1.

Students who are interested in learning more about the job fair can see their school counselor or administrator.
