Union County Fair continues this week

A junior livestock auction, two nights of demolition derby action and many other events are scheduled as the 2019 Union County Fair in Anna wraps up.

The fair is underway at the Anna City Park in Anna. Activities continue through Sunday afternoon.

Here’s a look at the schedule of events:

Thursday, Aug. 22

Thursday is Family Day at the fair.

5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Exhibit building open.

6 p.m. Junior livestock auction, junior show arena. (Admission is free.)

6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Carnival open.

7 p.m. Championship rodeo.

Friday, Aug. 23

5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Exhibit building open.

6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Carnival open.

7 p.m. Demolition derby, in front of grandstand. General admission ticket prices: $10 for adults, $5 for children.

Saturday, Aug. 24

5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Exhibit building open.

6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Carnival open.

7 p.m. Demolition derby, in front of grandstand. General admission ticket prices: $10 for adults, $5 for children.

Sunday, Aug. 25

1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Exhibits to be claimed at exhibit building.

1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Exhibitor checks available at fair office.
