Umpires needed this summer

The Southern Illinois Baseball and Softball Association needs umpires for games this summer at the Anna City Park.

Prospective umpires should be at least 16 years old and have good knowledge of both baseball and softball.

Umpire training sessions will be held at the Anna City Park ball diamonds.

The first training session is set for 2 p.m. on March 31. Six more training sessions are planned.

The season begins May 13 and runs through the end of June.
