Tamms plans parade, festivities
The sixth annual Light Up Parade and festivities are planned Dec. 14 in Tamms. The Village of Tamms is hosting the events.
The day’s activities are scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. inside the historic depot, where Santa and Mrs. Claus will be greeting children and posing for pictures: everyone is welcome to bring a camera.
Shopping will be available in the Village Christmas Store.
Hot cocoa and cookies will be served, compliments of Covia, Southern Bank and Tom’s Place.
The depot is scheduled to close at 4:45 p.m.
The parade is slated to begin promptly at dark. All are welcome.
Organizers said that the best place to watch the parade is on Front Street, between Tamms Avenue and McKinley Street.
