Summer reading program planned at Stinson Library

A summer reading program is planned again this year at Stinson Memorial Library in Anna.

“A Universe of Stories” is the theme for the 2019 program.

A registration kickoff party for the popular program is planned from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, May 31, at the library.

Registration is scheduled to continue through June 14 at the library. Registration also is available online at StinsonLibrary.org.

Weekly programs are planned from June 18 through July 25.

The schedule for the program follows:

Tuesdays: 5th through 8th grade. 10 a.m. to noon.

Wednesdays: Pre-kindergarten through 4th grade. Session 1, 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Session 2, 11:15 a.m. to noon. Session 3, 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Thursdays: Baby story time. 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

A summer reading finale is planned from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, at the library.
