Stinson hosts reading program celebration

The "Every Hero has a Story" summer reading program at Stinson Memorial Library in Anna concluded Thursday, July 28, with a big celebration.

First through 8th grade kids and their parents formed a line that ended outside as they waited to receive Book Bucks the kids had earned throughout the program. Book Bucks were good to purchase any of the items laid out on tables around the library's activity room.

The tables were full of bracelets, backpacks, school supplies, accessories, and, of course, books. The summer reading program's director and children's librarian, Ms. Beth, released the kids to browse the tables and within a couple of minutes, the tables were empty.

Parents and children then filed outside to a bounce house, an obstacle course and other super-training activities.
