SIU program offering health care at A-JCHS

SIU Family and Community Medicine started providing care at Anna-Jonesboro Community High School on Monday, Aug. 1. 

Katy Scott, PA-C (certified physician assistant), will be providing primary care to A-JCHS students and staff. She will also be accepting new patients from the community.

Medical director Dr. Scott Schonewolf is scheduled to be seeing patients one-half day per month. He specializes in sports medicine.

Hours are scheduled on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

The school nurse, Rebecca Nesbit, is scheduled to be available every day from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The nurse’s responsibilities will be to handle physical forms, to make appointments and several other tasks.
