Olde Tyme Christmas planned

An Olde Tyme Christmas is planned Sunday, Dec. 11, at Fort Massac State Park in Metropolis.

The Massiac Marines are slated to be a part of the holiday season event, which will be at the visitors center at the park. 

They will show how a traditional Christmas might have been for the French soldier or villager in 1759. 

Music, refreshments and decorations are planned at the visitors center.
