Mike Bost issues statement on Illinois Disaster Declaration

In a recent press release, U.S. Rep. Mike Bost, RIll. released the following statement regarding today's announcement of a major disaster declaration for the State of Illinois by President Trump:

“This spring, Southern Illinois was devastated by disastrous flooding,” said Bost. “Communities saw severe damage to roads and infrastructure, families lost homes and businesses, and farmers saw significant delays in the planting season. President Trump’s disaster declaration means that our state can begin to receive federal funding for critically important recovery projects.”
