Graduation ceremonies scheduled

High school commencement ceremonies, including one landmark event, are planned this week at Union County’s four public high schools.

Anna-Jonesboro Community High School: Graduation is set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 18. 

This spring’s commencement at A-JCHS marks 100 years since the first graduation ceremony was held at the Union County school in 1919.

The A-JCHS ceremony will be live-streamed by Tiffiny Dillow.

Cobden High School: Graduation is set for 7 p.m. Friday, May 17. 

Dongola High School: Graduation is set for 6 p.m. Friday, May 17.

Shawnee High School, Wolf Lake: Graduation is set for 7 p.m. Friday, May 17.
