Forest hike planned at Giant City State Park

Giant City State Park will be hosting a forest hike on Saturday. Nov 2.
Community forester Jenifer Behnken will lead the 1-mile trek through the Giant City Nature Trail. Behnken will discuss tree identification, Illinois forests, wood products, culture history and invasive species.
The hike will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Interested hikers should meet at shelter #3. No registration required
