Farmers market slated to open in Anna

The 2017 Union County farmers market is scheduled to open for the season on Tuesday, May 23, in Anna.

The market is scheduled from 7 a.m. to noon on each Tuesday during the growing season.

Again this year, the market will be located in a municipal parking lot along East Davie Street near downtown Anna.

The farmers market is sponsored by the Union County Chamber of Commerce.
