Farm-to-Fork Expo planned

The Jackson and Union County Farm Bureaus plan to host the first Southern Illinois Farm-to-Fork Expo Saturday, Aug. 13, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Alto Vineyards in Alto Pass.
The event is made possible through funding from Illinois Farm Families.
The expo will feature local farmers with displays of the food they grow, samples and one-on-one conversation with the farmers about growing safe food.
Each person who attends will receive free products and coupons in a complimentary goodie bag.
