Egyptian Early Learning Center to host community resource fair

The Egyptian Early Learning Center Head Start Program is planning to host a community resource fair on Aug. 4. 

The event is set from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the community building in Tamms.

The staff will be completing intake applications for the 2017-2018 school year for Egyptian Early Learning Center Head Start/pre-kindergarten program. 

Applications will be accepted for ages 3 to 5. Families who are applying will need to bring the child’s birth certificate and proof of income to the event. 

The program will also be accepting intakes for children birth to 3 for the Home Base Program. 

Completion of the intake application is not necessary to attend the event. If your child has been accepted into the program and you have health information to turn in, you can bring it to this event.

A number of local agencies will be at the event to hand out information about the programs that they offer to the public. Refreshments will be served.
