Cook Portable Warehouses launches Cook Crates to ease stress during moves

Cook Portable Warehouses has been a staple business in Southern Illinois for 32 years.

On July 13, the company announced the launch of Cook Crates.

The company said in a news release that the goal of Cook Crates "is to ease a family’s stress during a move, remodel or other short term storage needs.

Cook Crates provides families with multiple options for storing valuables: short-term onsite storage, short term off-site storage or short distance moving.

"For short-term on-site storage, people can leave the crate on their property while they pack for a big move or while remodeling their home.

"For those who are moving, they can actually have the crate delivered to their new home after they are finished packing. For those looking for an off- site storage solution, a crate can be filled and then can be stored at Cook's secure facility near Cobden."

“We’ve spent 32 years perfecting our secure storage buildings and now we’re meeting a new need in the market,” said Jonathan Bevis, the director of marketing.

“We started noticing a fair amount of customers wanting to rent something to store their valuables but only for a short amount of time,” Bevis said.

“We realized no one else was fulfilling this need locally, so we started exploring how we could. That’s when the idea for Cook Crates came about.”
