Community health clinic set in Cobden

A free community health clinic is planned Saturday, April 7, in Cobden.
The clinic is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Technology Learning Center at 111 S. Appleknocker Dr.
Sponsors of the clinic include the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville College of Arts & Sciences; School of Education, Health & Human Behavior; School of Nursing and School of Pharmacy.
The clinic will offer blood pressure measurements, cholesterol screenings, dental care, diabetes screening, diabetes A1c screenings (for those who qualify), diabetes foot inspection, hearing screenings, nutrition education, public health education and height, weight and body mass screening.
Light snacks will be provided and there will be giveaways.
