Bridge closing slated in Cairo

The Illinois Department of Transportation reported that the U.S. Route 60/62 Mississippi River bridge in Cairo was scheduled to be closed during working hours from Monday, March 27, through Friday, April 7.
The bridge was scheduled to be closed for a required annual safety inspection.
The bridge is scheduled to be open to all traffic from 5:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. each night and all day on weekends.
