Arts center to host Paint the Town

The Shawnee Hills Arts Council/Anna Arts Center is planning to host Paint the Town on Saturday, April 21.

The event will offer participants a chance to create their own works of art from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the West Davie Street parking lot in Anna.

The parking lot is across the street from the Anna Arts Center, which is located at 117 W. Davie St.

Individuals, friends and families are invited to paint their own masterpiece.

Paint the town also will feature a bounce house, music by a DJ and refreshments.

There is a registration fee to participate in Paint the Town: $10 prior to April 21 and $15 on the day of the event. 

Artists will receive an assigned 4 foot by 4 foot square on the West Davie Street parking lot and all the supplies they need to paint a square.
