Cobden students honored at excellence breakfast

To celebrate November/December’s character education trait, caring, students at Cobden Elementary School attended an excellence breakfast.

Three students from each classroom in kindergarten through 6th grade were selected by their teachers to receive an excellence certificate and attend the breakfast. Students also had a chance to win prizes in a raffle. The upcoming character education trait for January is fairness.

Students honored for November/December follow, by grade:

Kindergarten: Noah Decker, Tyler Franklin, Noah Fry, Aubrie Gibbons, Kirstin Guardian, Daden Moore and Bianca Vicente.

1st grade: Sydnye Cornell, Jonathan Fuhrhop, Edwin Funes, Cameron Gunn, Maria Hernandez and Madison Pitts.

2nd grade: Rory Baldwin, Mary Jane Cavaness, Noel Fabian, Nicole Reed, Luis Saavedra and Lilia Carmona.

3rd grade: Ryan Barr, Emilee Chamness, Mason Dillow, Victoria Fuhrhop, Ashley Hartsock, Anayeli Munoz, Carmen Peinado, Will Sensmeier and Abbi Spencer.

4th grade: Harleigh Braden, Noah Godinez, Carla Guerrero, Alejandra Lopez, Lexi Miller and Elizabeth Potter.

5th grade: Meredith Flamm, Erica Garcia, Jesus Olvera, Gregoria Rafael, Christian Reese and Grace Schroeder.

6th grade: Kalena Bostian, Emmelie Hawk, Darci Morrison, Raul Palmerin, Makynzie Peterman and Hortensia Zamora.
