Santa Claus plans to be at Fort Massac State Park in Metropolis on Dec. 17.
Santa is scheduled to be at the visitors center at the park from noon to 3 p.m.
“How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is scheduled to be shown. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served.
Corinne Brown, a former band teacher at Dongola High School, was surprised to see several Dongola band students and their teacher in the lobby at Union County Hospital in Anna on Thursday, Dec. 1.
