Mr. Merchant was born on Dec. 2, 1930, in Grand Chain.
Warren Shelton, 63, of Anna, died at 2:23 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2020, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
Carl (C.W.) Wayne Nimmo, 67, left this earthly home on Aug. 27, 2020.
Mr. Nimmo was born on May 21, 1953, in Union County, the son of Harlan and Wanda Davis Nimmo.
Delmond Dale Ellis, 71, of Murphysboro, and formerly of Pomona, died at 9:31 a.m. on Aug. 20, 2020.
He was born on May 18, 1949, the son of Howard O. Ellis and Crettie Fuller Ellis.
Juanita Olean Phillips, 92, of Anna, and formerly of Elkville, passed away very peacefully at 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, 2020, at the home of her daughter.
Joseph M. Glisson was born on Jan. 6, 1948, and, with his devoted wife by his side, Joe passed away quietly on Sunday, Aug. 2, 2020, at the Margret Dozier House of Big Bend Hospice.
