Anna Police report arrests

The Anna Police Department reports that four persons were cited in connection with two separate incidents which occurred early this week.

A Benton man was apprehended by the police department in connection with the alleged burglary of a car at a trailer park on Williams Street. The incident happened at about 10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1.

Three persons were cited in connection with an alleged incident which happened at about 5:21 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2.

The incident happened in an alley in the 100 block of East Vienna St.

Anna Police Chief Kerry Ray said that two male subjects and a female subject were arrested in connection with the incident. All three are from Anna.

Ray said that the three persons were walking when they blocked a vehicle in which a family was traveling.

All three suspects were cited for mob action. One of the male subjects also was cited for aggravated intimidation and disorderly conduct.
